Paulina has been volunteering with Woden Community Service since 2022, supporting our English Conversation Playgroup and Aged Care Social Programs, where she runs art and craft sessions.
After leaving her job at ANU, Paulina completed a community services course and was drawn to WCS because of our values. Volunteering has helped her build confidence, stay connected, and use her creative skills to support others.
She says the most rewarding part is the friendships, the laughter, and learning from people in our diverse community. Her advice to others: “You learn so much through volunteering. It’s rewarding and a great way to feel part of the community.”
