On Wednesday 15 March our Care Finder team participated in COTA ACT’s Seniors Expo in Autumn 2023, held at the Budawang Pavilion near the Exhibition Park in Canberra.
The expo is COTA ACT’s first major event of the year designed to inspire, inform and foster social connections. There were over 136 stallholders representing businesses, government agencies and community organisations that gathered to forge strong and effective links with older Canberrans.
Woden Community Service introduced its new Care Finder program that provides specialist assistance to help older people who do not have family or friends to support them, and who are in need of intensive support to get the aged care services they deserve.
