Artist Mimi Fairall is hosting a free portrait workshop on Sunday 12 February from 11 am to 1 pm at the SLA Display Village in Whitlam.
This workshop will involve painting or drawing someone — a family member, friend, or the workshop facilitator based on the details, feelings, memories and associations you have of this person. It will be an opportunity to play, experiment, make a mess and connect with your intuition! A range of materials, such as oil pastels, paint, pencils, paper, and canvas will be available.
This workshop is open to all ages and abilities and will be a safe space, free of judgement. Forget realism and embrace what feels fun and free for you!
